By Comfort Ewurabena Yeboah:
It is evident how aggressive many are towards their achievements but aggressiveness is not all there is to achieving something.
The unfortunate and unlucky thing in life is that, it doesn't always give what is on your timetable.
There is this virtue that calls for an ability to remain under pressure but mostly, we misunderstand it's interpretation for RELAXATION, DISUSE and QUITS.
I am referring to the ability and capacity of Man to contain and endure. Thus, PATIENCE.
Patience demands that we wait and look with anticipation. In other words, Patience means; Do not quit but wait in expectation of an appointed time.
In order to endure, you must strengthen your heart. Why? This is simply because a weak heart doesn't go very far in difficult times.
Many fall apart because they haven't had that capacity so if the trial hits, it demolishes them. Hey, the longer it takes to get out of a trial, the greater the harvest.
The endurance in patience is similar to the process of Growth. It is gradual. This is where waiting becomes a factor in life. Everybody waits at a point in time but it takes those who wait well to enjoy wealth.
This virtue is mostly needed when one is at a critical point in life.(a time of crisis or trials)
Patience demands you to stand in a position of readiness. The object of need or the provision to your anticipation may be standing at your door but you quit and had your door shut.(Give Up)
Have you considered your relationship with people? Do you have patience with them?
How do you act when you tell somebody to do something for the first time and they don't do it?
How do you act when you tell somebody to bring you something and they bring something Different? Just because people don't have the same gift or strength as you do does not mean they are not valuable.
People may irritate you but that should be a plus for you to test your strength. You don't run away from a trial to another place because wherever you go you will get a new trial.
Master, please have patience with your servant. They may have their own problems but you haven't heard their story.
Note this; You have to learn how to enjoy where you are on the way to where you are going. This will strengthen you in your journey of endurance.
