BE ALERT AND AWARE- COVID-19 IS REAL

The name of the virus got everyone blurred! When the world realized the virus was very deadly and a lot of measures had not been put in place to prevent it , everyone got deterred.! When it became a global fight, everyone concurred! The world remains amazed and saddened by the huge number of precious lives lost. A virus whose name sounds good in the ears but affects the vital organs of the body and shuts it down in the least provocation. Its nicknames ; COVID- 19, Novel Corona Virus sounds lively and sweet but very lethal. This virus was born as an epidemic , grew up as a pandemic and it is possibly going to die as an endemic. The epicenters of the virus couldn't contain the virus, it travelled beyond its borders to affect the world as a whole and we are likely to get rid of it by taking it as one of the virus that had struck the world since its inception. It is by fact that , the prevention of the virus into any economy was a daydream but getting rid of it can come into fruition when all the precautionary protocols are duly observed. Observing the physical and social distancing, the lockdown measures, the use of nose masks, frequent use of alcohol based hand sanitizers, frequent washing of hands with soup under running water, staying away from unapproved social gatherings are among the measures that have to come help us champion our course of dealing ruthlessly with the virus. These measures helped with the containment, and the prevention of the spread of the virus. Be alert and aware that COVID-19 is real but not rare and deadly but never friendly. Let's help protect our lives . Without life one's dreams get thwarted, and aspirations get shuttered. If wearing of nose masks is uncomfortable, then imagine being put on a ventilator to support you breathe. Could that be comfortable?! If you can't distant yourself from a lot people now as a measure of helping to prevent the spread of the virus, will you love to receive a mass burial service with innocent people who have passed on because of the virus? If avoiding handshake and hugging is limiting to your social bonds with others, huh! imagine what will happen when you are infested with the virus and you are kept in an isolation center. Let us all be on guard to help get this pestilence out of the world. The efforts of governments, frontline health workers , the media, security services and many other vibrant stakeholders cannot be left unrecognized and appreciate. We say kudos! Each and everyone has a role to play to help us all get rid of the virus. Be alert to observe all the the precautionary measure put in place by the government in combating this disease . I conclude succinctly by saying " Let us all have the greatest hope that when we play our roles in the fight against COVID-19, our Maker will redeem us from this pestilence. This too shall definitely pass...!!!
