I always believe that, one of the greatest gift a leader gives to their followers is their belief in them. Letting them know that, they are valued.
It seems wonderful when followers value the leader, but I believe it's more wonderful when the leader values the followers.
Why am I saying this?
For me, it shows that the leader cares and the more you value them as people, the more you get the joy and zeal to invest in them.
If leaders don't value their followers, they try to manipulate them to their own advantage .
In certain expectation for your followers, you need to clearly communicate how much you value them as individual people not as mere followers and that means, you care enough for them.
The value you place on yourself determines the level of commitment to yourself and likewise your followers.
Value the people you serve in other to serve them better.
